We were on a Break!!

We were on a Break!!

It’s been too long…. I’ve been so strong.  So sane.  I’ve been so good about cross training.  But I’m ready to get back to running.  I don’t want to be on this break anymore! Yes, I did go on a brief leave of absence from blogging.  I just couldn’t muster up the strength to talk about my cross-over into the world of biking and swimming. My first brick

My first brick

When I first heard the term “brick” workout it was last summer when reading about someone who was training for an IronMan. Bricks refer to training on two disciplines during the same workout, one after the other with minimal or no interruption in between.  (Swimming and biking, biking and running, etc.)  Obviously I am not training for a triathlon but I am trying to change things up in my cross training world so I don’t get bored. Today I decided…
