Yes, today John and I have been married 8 years. We celebrated by going to Memphis for the day. We brought Anna and spent the day just shopping and talking. It was great! I got two new skillets for cooking, some new running clothes and something else I am SO excited about… a new running watch! A worker at Dick’s
I decided to take a day off since I haven’t in almost 2 weeks. I did Body Pump this morning and we may go for a walk tonight but it will be nice to relax a little today. I just received my new training book, Marathon: The Ultimate Training Guide by Hal Higdon. I am looking forward to reading it.
Well, this has been a great week for me mileage wise. I have 33 1/2 miles so far with one day in the week left! I ran another 7 today with the running class. The next challenge I have is working on scheduling my runs better. I love meeting with the running group but it does take up an hour
Yesterday and today I was able to run with the running class that meets at Health Corp at 8:30 a.m. (All thanks to John’s great summer schedule 🙂 Both days we went 6 miles at a pretty good pace. It is really nice being able run with others and go on different routes.
So today’s run was a 5 mile trail run with John and Anna. The big kids were at mom and dad’s so we thought we’d take advantage of having only one. The only problem was that it was after 10 by the time we were out on the trail. That is fine at other times of the year but this
Ran 3 1/2 with Meg and we pushed the double jogger with Anna and Lucy in it. It was 3:30 and pretty humid. Also did Body Pump this morning.
I have thought about doing this for a while but for whatever reason I have not got around to doing it. I would like to keep better track of my runs so maybe this will help. My current goal is to run about 25-30 miles a week. Obviously this will change when I start training for a specific race. I
