Dear Boston 2013,
It’s been a LONG process but I am one year closer. One more year to go. I never knew it would take this long but I KNOW it will be worth the wait! Just so you know, I will be there be there next April. I will go to Athlete’s Village. I will take off on the starting line full of hope and determination. I will run each mile with strength and gratitude. I will be so thankful to finally be running the race I have dreamed of for so long. When I get tired I will think of how long it took to get there and how much others have sacrificed so I could pursue this goal. When I cross the finish line on Boylston Street I will know that I gave it everything I had. Boston 2013- I am planning on running my best race EVER. See ya next year!

You will be there for sure, and there’s almost no way the weather could be worse (I say “almost” so as not to make any of the Fates mad!). I wish I could write a letter like that, but must keep plowing. 2014 is probably a better bet for me. Sigh.
Yeah, I could not believe how awful it was! Hoping next year is MUCH better!
