Here we are with less than 12 hours to go and I am as ready as I’ll ever be… My clothes are laid out, fuel belt is ready, watch and ipod are charged. I am READY!!

I am rested, hydrated and ready for 26.2 miles of fun.  Unfortunately, Little Rock does not offer any kind of runner tracking but John will be there and is going to make it to as many miles that he can.  I am really looking forward to seeing him along the course.

Today has been a long day.  At different times I’ve caught myself being anxious and starting to worry.  I’ve thought about the weather, the hills, hitting the wall- you name it and I’ve worried about it.  For some reason an old church song came to mind today and I know that it was God who put it there.  I haven’t sung this song at church in a while but any time I started to worry today I immediately reminded myself to think of the words to this song.  (Apparently, Elvis Presley also sang this song.  When I googled it I mostly got Elvis links!)
