
My New Friend…
Meet one of my new friends… the Garmin 405. I am fairly certain that we will quickly become very close running buddies! I loved my 305 and used it on just about every outside run I did these past few years. If you do not have a Garmin watch and you run outside- you need to get one. Totally worth every penny. This watch was one of my 10 year anniversary presents from my lovely husband. The ring on the hand I am pointing with in the first picture is actually one of my other presents. (There are 4 diamonds for each of my babies- LOVE it!!!)
I am SO excited about using this watch. I actually went on my first run with it yesterday. (I ran 2 of my 4 miles.) I hope we have many, many more runs together. Setting a few PR’s would be nice too but at this point I would be happy with just staying healthy! .
As far as my training this week… I am cross training 2 days and I will be run/ walking 3 other days. On Saturday I walked a half mile, then jogged a half mile (4 times) so in total I jogged 2 of my 4 miles.


The push-up/ sit-up challenge is going well. I am noticing that I am able to do push-ups much easier now, a third of which are boy push-ups! I haven’t seen any physical results from this yet but I know it will take a lot longer than 2 weeks! My biggest challenge is eating right. I am at the point where I think I just need to cut out all sweets. Ughhhh. Why do brownies have to taste so good??
