Avoiding Injury….

Well, I’m on day 3 of no running. My legs were pretty worn out from the 20. I have been icing and stretching. Tomorrow I will try to do 3 or 4 miles. That may help. I had planned to do 3 yesterday and 8 this morning but yesterday my left leg was still hurting and this morning it was raining/ thunder/ lightning. So I’m taking today off too. Tomorrow I’ll get back into things. I hate not running but I just don’t want to risk injury. Not with 3 weeks to go… I just need to get in my important runs. Next week I should be able to run 4 or 5 days.

This morning my friend who I was going to run 8 with did her 20 mile run on her treadmill! Crazy!! She is super dedicated and the bad weather was not going to stop her Boston training! I have never done more than 10 miles on a treadmill. It’s good to know my running friends are obsessed with running like me! 🙂
