So today my main goal was to improve upon yesterday’s workout. I slowed down my pace to a 13:30 minute mile. In the end I completed 3 miles in about 45 minutes. I walked about a mile of it during the course of the workout. Ashton can get in a position which shoots a sharp pain in my tailbone. I remember Anthony used to do that too. Ashton does it more often and the only way to make it go away is to change position. When I switch from running to walking it goes away so after I’d jog a few “laps” (I did this all on a treadmill but I still refer to quarters as laps) then I’d walk a lap. This got me through the workout and I know I ran at least 2 of the 3 miles.
Side Note— Having a treadmill in our home is SO HELPUL!! It’s great being able to workout with children present while John is gone. I just told them all I was going on the treadmill and got them situated. They just played together the whole time. I know it will not be quite so “easy” with a baby but I’m just going to take it one step at a time for now.
