I decided to take a day off since I haven’t in almost 2 weeks. I did Body Pump this morning and we may go for a walk tonight but it will be nice to relax a little today. Scheduling…Yes, even in running!

Well, this has been a great week for me mileage wise. I have 33 1/2 miles so far with one day in the week left! I ran another 7 today with the running class. The next challenge I have is working on scheduling my runs better. I love meeting with the running group but it does take up an hour and a half between driving to and from the gym and waiting for everyone to actually start running. I know…

Health Corp’s Running Class…

Health Corp’s Running Class…

Yesterday and today I was able to run with the running class that meets at Health Corp at 8:30 a.m. (All thanks to John’s great summer schedule 🙂 Both days we went 6 miles at a pretty good pace. It is really nice being able run with others and go on different routes.

So today’s run was a 5 mile trail run with John and Anna. The big kids were at mom and dad’s so we thought we’d take advantage of having only one. I have thought about doing this for a while but for whatever reason I have not got around to doing it. I would like to keep better track of my runs so maybe this will help. My current goal is to run about 25-30 miles a week. Obviously this will change when I start training for a specific race. I hope to run a Half Marathon in October and a Full one in December, as well as a few 5k’s…
